A program from LAMB Arts Ltd. to provide a fundraising source for area not-for-profits - part of our efforts to give back to the community. The program is in memory of Diana's mother Hope, who passed away late last year, and who was a huge supporter of the theatre. The program 'donates' one performance of a Regular Mainstage production to one of the many worthy organizations in this community. Our HOPE beneficiary can use their night how they choose; tickets can be sold as a fundraiser, with all ticket sales from the evening going to the chosen beneficiary, or given to donors, staff or volunteers as a special "Thank You".
What will Projets of HOPE do?
Really the seeds for this program were planted a while back. From time to time, we have partnered with partners in the community when we felt we had an opportunity to reach outside our normal role of theatre, and provide a platform to benefit the community in other ways. Past partnerships have included The Waitt Institute Against Violence, the Sioux City CSADV, The Humane Society, Girls, Inc - sometimes these partnerships are providing learning opportunities; sometimes we help generate donations or host supply drives; sometimes we help in raising awareness. Projects of HOPE provides a platform to build a tradition of cooperation and involvement in our community. We hope to continue new exciting ways to reach out and bring change through the arts with this program.
About Projects of HOPE Events...
All tickets for performances designated Projects of HOPE events will belong to our non-profit partner to use as best benefits them. The tickets may be sold by the organization; used as thank you's to supporters, staff or volunteers; etc.
*NOTE: Projects of HOPE evenings are considered fund-raising events and outside of the normal season.
In Loving Memory...
