Karen Sowienski, Resident Costumer
Associates in Theatre/Costuming, LA Theatre Academy, Los Angeles, CA (1981)
Karen is an irreplaceable part of LAMB. She has been a darling of our stage and the genius of our costume department almost since the beginning of LAMB itself. Before coming back to the Sioux City area, Karen also worked with professional theatres (Gaslight Theatre, Denver; Gene Dynarski Theatre, LA) onstage and off. Her love of theatre started in childhood and she is thankful that it is still such a large part of her life. Her favorite shows (in an onstage role) were The Miracle Worker, Not Now Darling, Noises Off, and Driving Miss Daisy. Her favorite costuming achievements were during LAMB's productions of Secret Garden and Sweeney Todd.

Melody Beaulieu, Teacher
Melody Beaulieu has been a LAMB Theatre student for eleven years and is one of the youngest teachers we have employed to work with our precious students both here and in our outreach collaboration projects such as the Siouxland Y, Camp Imagination, Jackson Recovery Women and Children's Shelter. She has had a wealth of onstage experience at LAMB as well; performing in the last two Shakespeare comedies, Metamorphoses and many, many other productions.
